WASSCE/SSSCE Candidates:
Credit Passes (A1-C6) or (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, plus three (3) relevant elective subjects.
GBCE Candidates:
Credit Passes (A-D) in six (6) subjects comprising three core subjects including English Language and Mathematics plus three (3) relevant elective subjects
General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level Candidates
Passes in three subjects, with at least one pass at Grade D or higher. Credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and either a science subject (for Arts students) or an Arts subject (for science students).
Advanced Business Certificate Examination (ABCE) Candidates
Applicants must have a Full Diploma Certificate in ABCE, and credit passes in five subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, and either Integrated Science or Social Studies, from the GBCE, SSSCE, or WASSCE. ABCE candidates may be considered for admission at level 200 of a degree programme.
Professional and other Entry Qualifications
All professional certificates and any other qualifications beyond the ones specified above must be referred to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) for the establishment of their equivalencies, to determine their eligibility for admission.
Mature Entry Requirements
To enter as a mature student, you must be at least 25 years old, provide a birth certificate at least 5 years old, have a minimum of 3 years’ work experience with proof, have completed secondary, technical, or vocational education, pass the University’s Mature Access Course Entrance Examinations in Mathematics, English Language, and Logical Reasoning with at least 50% in each, and pass a Selection Interview.

All professional certificates and additional qualifications must be assessed by the GTEC to determine their equivalency and eligibility for admission.
Admission to the graduate program is selective and highly competitive. A candidate must have obtained a bachelor’s degree (at least a second-class lower division) in a relevant field of study from an accredited university. In addition, applicants suitability will be assessed via the response to the graduate program essay question on the application and/or interview.
